Black Friday TV deals: Not quite the buyer’s paradise some hoped?

Black Friday is approaching (the day after Thanksgiving, for those who don’t know, considered one of the hottest shopping days of the year), and the planned ads for most retailers have been released already.

To be honest, the deals are good, but not really good. With the economy in a shambles, most thought the deals would be real burn down the house kinda deals. But that hasn’t really happened so far.

Plenty of good deals though; a Insignia 47″ 1080P HDTV for $999 from Best Buy, and a Samsung 50″ Plasma for $899 from Circuit City are a few of the really good ones. Feel free to browse through the others.
