2-11-09-sony_kdl-46v5100Sony informed most of the press not to expect their very newest BRAVIA series HDTVs until later this Spring… but apparently the 46-inch KDL-46V5100 is ready to be sent off into your local electronics store very shortly. The earlier availability wasn’t expected, but is quite welcome for Sony lovers.

The fairly light (52.6 pounds) set includes their celebrated 1080p panel, their newest 120Hz Motionflow technology that promises to remove almost all stutter and jittering in high-action sequences, stereo speakers, the newest BRAVIA Engine 2 and a digital tuner that covers all the types pretty much (NTSC, ATSC, ClearQAM, etc).

MSRP is $1,899.99 (which is very competitive with their models from last year without the 120Hz feature!), and they should be avilable for people to buy on the site in early March or so.
