Want your TV really BIG? Screen Excellence releases VistaCurve screens
February 13, 2009 by Derek
Upstart company Screen Excellence (there’s a literal name for a company if we’ve ever seen one) has released its VistaCurve projection screens for those with larger bank accounts (read: not that many these days).
The new range is includes curved 1.78 and 2.37 aspect ratio models, and you can get them from 80 to 160″ wide, so they’re big. Really big.
They also feature the patented Enlightor 4K (EN4K) screen material design, which is said to be, according to the company: “the first and only acoustically transparent screen material that has been designed specifically for high-end Commercial D-Cinema and cutting edge residential high-end installations.” So this is the real deal, apparently.
Of course, all this size comes with a hefty price tag, starting at around $5,800. The website is here if you have the green to check it out: Link
