HDTV Around The World

HDTV happenings are occuring all over the world, in case you weren’t aware of this. Every once in awhile, we like to bring to you the events and significant network occurances of HDTV around the globe.
Indian group Sun Direct launched their very first HDTV broadcasts, West Coast Baseball begins a 50-game HD baseball schedule, and even more happenings all over. They’re covered in this Engadget HD article, along with other developments.
It’s a safe bet to say that HDTV gospel is spreading over the world, as others discover the wonder that is high-definition. It’s a slower process than in the US, due to lower funds usually available, and slower adoption of newer technologies, but its happening and it appears the momentum is going in a positive direction.
