The TX Series are a line of 1080p LCD HDTVs with the now fairly standard 120Hz refresh rate (most new models have this feature).  It’s a way of displaying images more quickly so that motion is more fluid, minus the occasional flicker seen in many 60hz TV’s with LCD. The TX Series comes in 3 sizes: 37 inch, 42 inch and 55 inch.

The SK-Series: The focus seems to be on affordability and a “DayBright” panel that adjusts to any kind of lighting (the kind of TV you can take or move to different places easily). They’re 720p and have 3-4 HDMI inputs for easy connectivity. Available in 26, 32 and 37 inches.

Prices were not announced, but should be fairly competitive. The TX Series will be available in May-July 2009, and the SK Series will be available mid-March 2009.
